LeafGuard® Gutter Guard

The LeafGuard is also a reverse-curve system that is based on the one originally patented in 1908 and relies on surface tension to work. It is an all-in-one system so they will replace your gutters, irrelevant of the condition they are in. In replacing these systems with Gutterglove we have noticed the following issues:

• water overshoots the gutter, especially at valleys
• wet debris (leaves, twigs, etc) follows the water into the gutter
• the LeafGuard is a complete system that replaces your existing gutters
• many reports of ice dams forming and long icicles from the gutters

The LeafGuard guarantee, taken from their web site, states the following:

The Englert LeafGuard® gutter system is guaranteed not to clog with leaves, pine needles, or other organic debris as long as you own your home or we'll clean them for free.

This means your only remedy for a clogged gutter would be to get the dealer out to clean your gutter at his convenience!
